Nice is it cool if u have a chat with the other for us be ideal
You forgot to mention, that you should also use your left hand to obstruct the view of how to place the filler pistol, or whatever it is called...
I had 2 cars of mine rammed one year after the other and the bike I bought was a crash write off (non-structural) that I've put back on the road so I'm hoping that between us we're not due any more for a good long while.
story gave me a ptsd. got my mod2 tommorow
Haha don’t worry, you’ll be fine and if not.. well don’t move your head!! 😹😹
😂
I had a bad smash in 1992 nearly died never sat back on a bike till 2022 even now iam not 100% on it
Well done getting back mate! Real mental strength there 💪🏻
I’m 60 and bought an RR three months ago and love it. The other bike is an XR for longer trips and crap weather but I can happily ride the RR for 3 hours and hop off in no pain. The bike is roomy and cruise control allows you to sit up and stretch from time to time so all good. Do you still have the bike and is there a further update?
No I traded in a single R and absolutely love it! Do anything bike 👍🏻 though I do miss the linear ease of power the RR has.
@@yodomcat seems like a lot of people shift to the single R and never look back. I guess my XR is my do anything bike and the RR is my guilty pleasure for the warm sticky tarmac days so loving them both for now. Common sense would probably suggest that I trade them both in for a single R but not sure about touring on an R?
@@johnsteel4719 XR and RR combo is perfect. An R for those who can’t have both so pick the one in between 👍🏻
Thanks for this!
Do you also use the rear brake when doing the trail braking?
I don’t myself, but only because my rear brake control is not as fine tuned. But there is no reason you can’t; except at hight speeds it could make the back slide out
These seem to be more suited for the slim handsome individual... Is there something for us more on the rotund side of things who are not so blessed in the looks department?
Unfortunately armour has to sit tight so it doesn’t move. But for the larger rider I say this is better. Get the embarrassing tight fit, but then you can throw whatever you want over the drop. Jumper, baggy t-shirt, etc.
writing a short story about a bike rider during iom tt race, now i want to ride one. #babysteps
It’s not unique to that bike. I’m 40 in excellent health, no joint pains, gym goer (that’s me in my avatar) and still all sports bikes feel crap after an hour. I mean they’re designed with track ergos, don’t really make sense on the road. Better off with a hyper naked
Just got my insta 360, whats the small insta screen you got?
That’s a wireless remote
I only passed my mod 2 because ironically I had thought I had failed in the first 10 minutes. I failed to understand the examiners instructions due to comms issues on a roundabout and had gone into lane 2 on roundabout where I was supposed to be proceeding straight, Only realised he said 2 not 3 when I saw him in lane 1 in his car at the roundabout. I just went around the roundabout twice to ensure I wasn’t being dangerous but i thought as I hadn’t followed his instructions i would have failed. Straight after that I calmed down and started riding normal as I believed I was no longer under any pressure as I had already failed in my mind. I got back to the test centre and was told i passed, with the only errors being that i went 22 in a 20, and not seeing a large pothole in the road on a negative camber turn i nearly hit the pothole but was more focussed on the positioning for the turn.
Ahh you had a car too! Did that throw you off like me? I had no clue which car he was due to buzzy mirrors at least with a bike they’re on your shoulder.
Thanks, this worked for me.
Thank you for the detailed explanation on Knox shirts and options to wear with. I’m getting back into riding, just bought a ‘23 T120 Bonneville and looking for some good riding gear for trips and weekend rides. So many options to choose from…it’s hard to figure out what’s good and/or gimmick. However, will I look stupid riding a Bonnie wearing this gear? lol
What you want is buy the action shirt and wear it under a Barbour or Belstaff trailmaster and remove all the armour in those. That way your protected and have something comfy on and off the bike 👍🏻
@@yodomcat Thanks man. I’ll check those out! Have a great weekend! 👊🏼
Nice review mate, thank you very much
Might help if the SENA it would recognize the unit
Have 2 original cables, neither work. No help on 2 different sena units.
Your son is very smart 😢❤
I highsided in August whilst trying to get my knee down. Did a good job of smashing my left foot up on the footpeg and it's still not healed. It's not bothering me all that much, but I'm a complete pussy about cornering now and it's taking a while to get used to leaning over again.
It’s fully understandable, it’s just time. Thought about a track day so you don’t have to worry about anything but riding. You can take your bike on and just pootle around.
not getting that with original cable??
Sounds like you got off very lightly especially at that speed 😮 I got rear ended at 40 mph and got smashed to bits, spent 3 months in hospital and had to learn to walk again let alone ride. Managed to get back on a scooter after 3 years and now back on a bike 5 years later. I wasn’t so much worried about riding again it was just the pain that kept me off a bike for so long. Consider yourself very lucky sir. Ride safe 👍
Study engineering or learn the physics of driving. Risk is probability multiplied by damage extend. After a while you will master the odds of every action and get a feel for what you wanna do and don't. Emotional bullshit is for hysterical woman, train to surpress that if you want to have sucess in life.
Came off at 45-50mph. From tarmac on to gravel. It was on a long trip. I'm due to do a long trip next week, and yeah, the nerves are there. But I need to do it because it's to prove I can do it.
Similar to me; a month from my crash I had a Germany tour and that cured any anxiety I had! Hope your trip will for you 👍🏻
Ouch. Think you got away lightly thank god 🙏
Can someone provide me the link for the $40 ones? I cant find them 😔

Ya know mate, a bt tune after a couple bolt on mods will give you stock M performance but will be more refined than the M
Not finding quite the same on my S after doing it all. The M just has that liner power everywhere.
Ah… no dips in the power or torque either fresh put the box stock? Thats impressive. Imagine that plus a stage 2 from bt. Hey does your S or M have or had high revs on cold starts?
@@popsproductions8547 yes mega high, I also don’t let it run (jump on and go) and have to clutch only with back brake it’s that high!
Nice to see someone actually giving it some stick.
As a college student who’s new to the motorcycle scene, I have a 14” laptop, notebook, and iPad to carry to class. I’ve researched backpack-after-backpack, which were too pricey, had a lackluster style, or were too bulky for my smaller frame. And FINALLY, I find a video with all the info and clarity I need, thanks to you! So I’ll definitely be going with the R20. Thanks a bunch 💖💖
Those are good pieces of advice: setting goals could be the right solution to me. I haven't so much time to ride so I can't feel secure enough to ride for hours and sometimes it ends with not going out with my bike. I started just some months ago with my "real" bike (I had a 125 before) and in the beginning, I rode on the highway and on the twisties but now I always feel a bit nervous to start. By the way then, when I'm ON the bike all that feels stop.
That nerves at the start for me hung around for YEARS, but u would tell myself nerves are good I should RESPECT this rocket I’m about to ride 🚀🚀🚀
That feeling! Seeing the bike, walking towards it feeling like you’re floating😂 I’m getting back to sports bikes and can’t wait to pick one up! Love the rsv’s man, my love for them will never die. I did die from 1:55 though, that shit was funny😂😂
I just picked up a 2001 rsv 1000 Mille 😎😎
@@nostalgiconion1341 awesome bro! Enjoy 🤘🏻 I picked up a 99 rsv with 32k on the clock few weeks ago. It had some work, but i fixed a lot of stuff already. Almost ready to hit the road now
@@DonGH97 HELL YEAH!! Mine just needs a new front master which I have and a clutch which it’s not slipping bad yet so I’m gonna wait for that one, I’ve already had LOADS of fun on it though it’s such a good bike
@@nostalgiconion1341 they are lovely bikes mate! I can’t wait to hit the road✊🏻
@@DonGH97 they are amazing bikes 😎 super comfortable for a sport bike I’ve found too
😂😂😂😂
What’s that mount you have for your phone? Where did you get it?
It’s a Quadlock. If you search my channel i have a few videos reviewing and install guide 👍🏻
I gave up riding due to anxiety over being afraid of head wind on dual carriageway this made me so unsettled that i sold my bike. Anything over 45 and the wind blast made me grab the bars like i was going to get blown off the back seat even with my knees desperately gripping the tank it just felt too much for me and its been years now since and i really regret it alot and feel a failure for not persevering more and actually fighting the fear with practice. Id love to try again im nearly 47 and worry itll scare me again but your video really inspires hope and better understanding that we all have similar worries and fears and that by doing it regularly it does reduce that anxiety or fear of the unknown.
Did you try different bikes in a head wind?
No just the one bike thanks for asking it was a Bonneville but I think if I tried again I'd not go down the triumph route again was very heavy for me.
@@RiskiestGeeMan not a great bike for windblast! Also quite gutless for motorway riding. Definitely try a bike with more wind protection. Don’t discount the street triple. 👍🏻
😂😂😂😂
That song sucks
Like the artist.. how else it played?
Why is his inner voice Indian 😂
Turns Jamaican when he gets angry 😹
Yes. Involving our kids in our interests is a great way to strengthen our relationship with them.
Ahh man ahh man
😂😂😂
Bit confused, what's the legal smallest plate allowed in uk?
9x7. If you run smaller it is NOT legal. However most police don’t mind, depends on your area.
You are right. Lived abroad riding my 125cc now got to resit cbt again..not riden for 10 years but want my instructor to treat me like a novice....I'm not a big head it can be daunting. Love Yr commentary.. your honesty n humour is truthful
Thanks 🙏🏻
I have my cbt at end of this month, even tho ive ridden pitbikes and driven quads the thought of riding a bike out on roads is terrifying 🤣😬
Thhank you for your information, problem solved!
Can I add the spoiler to the RR model pal?
Yes, mine came with the spoiler but that was the hot lap
Good advice!
Original cable did not work. Swapped it for a 3 year old USB-C cable. Immidiately connected. Thank you!
10,000mm thats terrible for the rain you need at least 20,000mm waterproofness as 10,000 will wetout in 15min in light shower.
Not my experience with the jacket. Motorway journey for 30 min in hard rain and no issue.
@@yodomcat 10,000mm is not made for heavy rainfull so the fact it lasted you 30min is a shock.
Cheers bruv. Is your cat system still installed at the time of this video. I have a s1000xr that has the same engine as yours. I hope this simple slip-on sounds like this when im complete with the install
At the time of the video the cat was installed 👍🏻 also since the decat I sent the can back to pro-race they put a baffle in for me! Best can by far!!
Fantastic!! Thanks for the info bruv
